I see it like this... YOU are the one who decides TO or NOT TO twist the throttle beyond your own control! Is it manageable, IMO yes. But don't go into it like some do and think that after 2 weeks you've mastered it. I've been riding some type of bike since I was 7 years old, and I still learn something new on a regular basis. Oh, and watch out for cars because being on 2 wheels is like playing frogger some times lol.

To the OP - ENROLL AND COMPLETE THE MSF RIDERS COURSE!

Don't even think about riding that bike until you do so.
 
Best first bike in my experience is a 250 size or SV650 it's light forgiving and a nice throttle curve. If you haven’t ridden any bike before putting the massive amount of power on this bike aside, the weight of the bike alone will make you prone to dropping it while getting used to taking weird angles and changes in slope at slow speed. Don't waste more money dropping an expensive new bike over buying a cheaper alternative that gives you a chance to recover from a mistake.
