So I was fiddling with the time settings on my r and then my wife started talking to me from the house, I though the kickstand was down until I realized when I was leaning the bike, that it wasn't down, man did I struggle like hell to not let it tip...but it did...slowly..got two minor scrapes on the left fairing....man was I pissed but a good thing is that the tip sensor works because the bike killed afterwards.

That sucks! Luckily I have never dropped a bike but a few months back I was riding with FlaX and pulled off into some gravel/sand (I thought it was hard and compacted but was way wrong) and my front tire sank about 3 inches and I fell over. I put my foot out and caught the bike with the bar end probably ~1" from the ground. I was barely able to pull it back up. I had just swapped brand new plastics and powder coated parts on to my bike, man I would have been upset lol. FlaX let me have it as he pulled up behind me.....haha.

did the same pulling into 1badtitan90's driveway one day.

Don't worry raven, at least you don't attract the bad luck I do lol

I just realized the worst part of this story is that it happened in front of your wife lol. My wife would never let that go.

If my wife would just stand by and watch me slowly go down, i would have to let her go..

You might have bigger problems if your wife is watching while you slowly go down. Lmao.

Sorry to hear about the tip over. [sad]

I did the same thing with my X1 when i first got it. pulled into a gas station on the outer banks. a few attractive females were in a car at the next pump. Being the cool good looking guy i was i pulled my helmet off and got off the bike and let it fall to the ground. dam that kick stand.

I did what any self respecting man would do. picked my bike up threw my helmet on and went to the next gas station.

Lol, I was mad at her too, I was like ,"Thanks, I mean it's just a 400-hundred 7000$ machine falling on your husband!!" Lol, I just bought some pegasus buell decals to cover it up, it isn't bad really, I just hate imperfection..I guess that i rightfully have this feeling because of the fact of how much I spent on it...

i fall down all the time :D my wife actually caught me and my cyclone when i missed my step loading my cyclone on the trailer and almost rode off the side... so mines a keeper, although she did laugh when she watched me tag her car with the saddle bag and wipe out on my uly pulling into the drive.

You gotta put ur first scratch in it sometime raven, so look @ it as mission accomplished ;)

Lol, it's ok now I painted the scratches over with some paint scratch paint, the gm cardinal red is pretty close to the color of my bike, and I think she will catch me from now on.
