First post with xb12r pic!

Hey everyone,

Just want to introduce myself to your forum. I'm a first time buell owner, live in Orlando Florida, and my bike is my primary source of transportation at this time and I love that its a buell.

Since im quite familiar with vB boards the search function has kept me from making the first post a question.

I own an 05 firebolt xb12r, full fairing sharkskinz, jardine can. Your write ups on TPS resets and spark plug changes have been used by me already, as I'm sure the rest will be used at some point and time.

I am currently having to change my front motor mount and thread insert, due to that rubber vibration dampner being destroyed and rattling around the bolt in said mount. The ass end of my jardine exhaust has blown off so it is currently running with no packing and no tip on it. I'm looking at all exhaust options right now because I cant afford a 400 exhaust right now. Any tips or sales would be apreciated.

I am also in need of the right side passenger foot peg mount assembly. Ebay is short on all options currently, so once again any help would be awesome.

Once I get everything fixed with it, I was planning on powdercoating the frame and swingarm that cherry bomb red and repaint everything flat black.

squidbuellie has some stock mufflers for 100. and he can send them to hawk to get them done up for the additional cost of 195. so i think its like 300 plus shipping.

Hey check out buellsterparts.com for parts too. I think they have the passenger peg bracket and the motor mount in stock at all times pretty much.

Also, if you have part numbers you can use lshd1.com, they are cheap.

YOu can buy repacking for your Jardine. Check ASB they sell some more durable packing. Just put in re-rivet and she will be good too go![up]

The full fairing is still growing on me, but anyways welcome to the forum. How hot does your bike run with those fairings? Doesn't seem like it would breathe as well. Looks good.[cool]

im not to big on the full faired bike. when i first bought the bike i wanted full fairngs but then then original look grew on me.

i dont know maybe its just me but i like to run around naked
