I was going to start the clean up of my bike today, but rain held me off of that. So I decided to start to get my Trunk ready.

In Pict #1 you will see my Mac laptop in a lower compartment. I have a full version of PhotoShop installed in it. It is supported by a full layer of foam bellow it, and around it. Beside it in that picture you will see my camera gear"tray". In it is my Sony 35 DLSR NEX 6 with my 16 mm wide angle and 18-200 Zoom. I bought this camera & lenses, plus the laptop, specifically for my travel requirements. They are small, light and take great shots. Of course, anything I am not happy with I have PhotoShop to correct.

In the tray there is also my camera case. In it is all of my laptop stuff, like mouse, power cable and portable drive storage. I have this case so if I set out on foot, that I can carry it easily. It would take just a minute to unload the Laptop stuff and put the camera gear in it. The laptop, camera & electrics will be in Ziplocks if the weather turns to rain to protect them.

Pict #2 the tray is installed, and it comes up to about the top of the bottom half of the case.

Pict #3 & 4 include my day pack. I am going to rig up some straps in the top of the case to hold the day-pack in place. In the day pack is some light rain gear for hiking. Total weight is a guess at about 10 lbs all in.

This makes everything secure and easily accessible. Photography is my other passion. I can manage almost all of my business from my laptop and my cell. The laptop and cameras make it possible for me to keep my blog and my personal Website updated.

I have been working on getting my Blog going, but was holding back until I start this next phase of my motorcycling and photography.

Have a look at the blog and you will get a taste of where I am heading with this

Thanks. I found a Pelican Case Organizer in box of stuff I had, and I will use it as a separator so the day pack stays in the top of the case. It will give me some more storage for small bits and pieces. Now I just need to sort out how I am going to do that, but small bungee cords and some brackets attached to the bolts on the inside of the top case should do the trick.
