hey all i just got a flat front tire on the way to work. whats the best idea 4 getting home. need to go 25 miles. is fillin it up at every station i see and riding home a ******* idea or should i get a tow truck? i got 8 more hours to figure it out. any suggeestions would help...the clocks tickin and beers are on the other end of this day!

Maybe plug it be my suggestion then get a new one I wouldnt risk it riding it with low air it will have unpredictability you may not be able to control and besides the front tire controls just about every facet of motorcycle control from steering to ride to braking. If you can't safely plug it get it towed home I'd rather ypu be out $$$ then out of air yourself meaning in an accident and hurt to worse dead because you risked it.

Has anyone ever tried the "fix-a-flat" stuff in a bike? It says not to use it on 2-wheeled vehicles on the can, just wondering if anyone has been brave enough to violate the directions?

The problem with Fix-A-Flat and other liquid like flat repair stuff is that it can cause vibration as your wheel/tire may become out of ballance once the liquid is inside and the tire/wheel begins to rotate. This is a short term emergency fix!!!! Use caution and replace the tire ASAP...

yo thanks for all the advice. plugged it n got a new one on saturday so i had plenty of time to ride on the weekend!
