I would not say you're out of line at all on your price. EVERYONE wants a GREAT deal of couse! Like another post said....hang in there if that is what you need for it! They ARE becoming harder to come by, and you have a decent piece there. Spring, of course, would be the time to try to move it for what you want....everyone wants to ride and they have their tax returns back in their hands. (Hopefully!). If I myself were in a better position right now, I'd make you an offer. Bad timing for me though. Good Luck bud!!

Its overpriced for this time of year. Its not a bad deal overall, but its all about timing. Typically most guys i know are buying projects to do over the winter. This is the time of year (especially right after the holidays) is an excellent time to pick up bargains.
I dont think being a 9 is that bad, Its a cool bike and the prices on them are overall climbing, So long term its a good investment. I know a lot of people who run shops or worked in dealerships. I dont know about your area but I was again told recently that there is a magic period of 3-4 months when most bike sales happen, the rest of the year you tread water. Im full up with Buells here. I have more than most. Best of luck on your sale.
However an abstract suggestion,,,,, Know anyone you can trust in New Zealand? Theres a website called
"TrademeNZ" and its their version of Feebay and Craigslist all in one. Buells like yours sell for double the US prices. To all the haters,,, point out the sales there,,,,,, a bike like yours would sell for double the US price down there. And its going into their spring right now hint hint... I have a good friend in Christchurch.
