Hi Guys.
Is it possible to use LEDs at a headlight.
They seem pretty bright and apart from angling them to differ between high and low beam would it be possible and legal??
Trying to make a custom shape headlight using just LEDs.

Lexus and Hummer have started using LEDs for headlights.

There is such thing as H3 and H7 LED conversions, but they aren't very bright at all so they're ment to be used as DRL and not headlights. They're only about 150 lumens, when a regular H3 bulb is about 1500 lumens.

As far as just converting, you're going to have to wait until the technology advances more.

led is bright at short distance, so i would do the conversion...yet
