I'd like to figure out a way to charge it at the same time. The GPS just kills it so fast.

this one also does rotate to landscape. you can get any iphone 12v charge and take the cigarette thing apart. it has a + and -, run them to the ignition wires up front or anywhere with a 12v and your good to go

I would do that, but it would be pointless because my iPhone doesn't like my gloves. I've even went as far as licking the screen to answer a call.

I use Oakley THUMPS for tunes,all in my sunglasses. And the lens pop off for nightime.

I am with xtremelow. This is all great and everything but does not help us firebolt guys how have no extra space on our handlebars to mount such a thing.

Buy the ram mount that replaces the top of your master cylindar from precision. Then buy the ram mount holder for the iPhone. ThAt would solve it for the firebolts

I was looking for something like this a while back. I stopped my search though.

a. I read many posts about the vibrations KILLING the phone
b. Won't work with gloves
c. I'd be worried that it would fly off

I just keep the phone in my pocket. I only keep my favorite songs on the iphone where I hardly ever want to skip a track. I can always hit the volume up/down through my jeans

Navigation would be sweet. Like xtreme said, damn fairing

if that were me; i would slap some velcro on the back and on the airbox cover and call it a night. or even cut out a square in the airbox and flush-mount it on top of the airbox.

i havent read about vibrations killing the phone but it makes sense. the phone works with leather gloves.

I'd like to see a tank bra with a pouch for an iPhone or similar device. I think I'd get rather have it secured that way than have it clipped in a bar mount where it's just waiting to fly out.

Better yet, a mount that kept it over the bar clamp (dead center just below the instrument panel). Still, I'm a little weary of keeping my $400 iPhone on a simple clip-in type mount where it can fly out.
