Hello there! I am new here though have been with motorcycles and everything related to motor port for years now! It is just nice that there are a lot of enthusiasts out here, most especially with that similar Buell interest.

Aside from this, I am also interested with F1 and scuba diving. It would be nice to see other members who are interested with the same thing.

Hello everyone,
I am the buellXB forum noob, Bought my bike about a month ago (2004 xb12s) My friends and i have a bit of a background in megasquirt tuning & didnt really realize how easily these bikes can be tuned with the same software! I am a hobbyist fabricator & machinist & spend most of my professional life designing school building projects in the eastern (Desert) portion of Washington state. ;)

I am happy to be on here as buellxb.com has been a wealth of info for me even as a non member.

Welcome brother not the best way to post a new member thread but hey it worked!! Might be easier to post an new thread in general XB Section! And we need some pics!! Great board here lots of info!!!

Should I adjust pressures for rain riding?
Not for the occasional rain ride... Adjusting your mindset means infinitely more: increase stopping distance, decrease acceleration rate & steering inputs, etc.

New to Buellxb.com.Got a Xb9sl a few years ago as a pre bike for a 1125cr .I may never.Might consider adding a Firebolt xb9 to my garage though .I feel like I went Erik Buell and he built this for me . Ive been out of the streetbike loop for bit ,my last ride was a Honda Vfr 500 .I did like that bike. Its funny how so many of my friends who have been riding for years said OOOh nooo Buell who rides Buell? Dont get a Buell. You need a ninja ,hurricane, gxr, ect. Oh the Buell is unrefined.Even my Harley riding friends chimed in,Buell is for beginners. I always wanted American bike,Harley didnt make dirttrack bike that i loved as a kid anymore. Now they all want to ride my xb and the older guys at the local harley bars kinda look twice. I have to toast Art from Maine for getting me on here Cheers ! my xb has the new belt . yea Ive No idea where to post this .tmsaisti dj

is it me or is some of this stuff outdated.

as far as the ECM tuning, i'm sure there are other ECM's and vendors out there thsat are providing simalr "canned tunes" for people with the intake and slip-on?

i guess i'll look here "first", but then view the forums for other information that should be more up to date [up]
