anyone out there that purchased fork seal drivers? i was wondering if you could give me some dimensions so i could make my own. I need three essential dimensions. The outer diameter of the driver, the inner diameter and how deep it is. Obviously the thru bore is 41mm or slightly oversize.

I never measure, I take the new seal to the hardware store and find a 12" (or so) piece ov PVC pipe and a cap to fit. Then instal the cap, face the open end in a lathe, and the end result is a tool perfect for seal driving.... You will find that most SCH80 PVC will be the perfect size for your seals... If that doesnt work out it is only critical that the outer dimension MATCH thats it....

I was just hoping to make the tool before my parts come in on friday so I can get things done. does the bushing fit inside of the larger bore on the seal driver or does it contact on the outside. Im not sure what the purpose of the larger bore is.

I was planning on making a tool out of aluminum that matches the one that race tech sells.

edit: i found some dimensions 41.5mm thru bore. 52.5mm OD with a 45.5mm bore that is 6.35mm deep.

so i made a fork seal driver today. hope to make the compressor on thursday. and my parts are supposed to be in on friday. just need to get some dowel pins for the holes. I didnt have any.
