So one fork seal was leaking pretty good after ride. Running down and pooling on bottom of fork. I decided to give seal mate a try and sure enough worked like a charm no leak however I am curious if the very light almost invisible rings from pumping forks a few times is normal. Almost like a very very very light film of oil. Would make sense if the seal has oil on it to keep it from drying out but I want to be sure. As said deff not leaking like before and both sides get the film look

buy a small container of transmission "stop-leak" or "seal swell". using the generic names here to get you pointed in the right direction. the trans "conditioner" or "stop leak" works particularly well. using your seal-mate moisten it with the conditioner and work in and around each seal as you previously did to clean each seal. then work forks up and down several times and wipe the film off each tube. helps soften and moisten each seal.
