It seems like the forums are slow, so here's a new topic. Has anyone met up with someone that they met on here and become friends? Do you have any interesting stories about riding with fellow forum members? If so, please share!

I found out that RT Performance lives fairly close to me as we swapped tail sections a while back, and since then have hung out at bike timein my home town and will both beheading to the Homecoming.[smirk]

I have not from this site, but another buell forum I met a bueller and became good friends. I take a few weekend trips each summer 3 hours and stay up there for the weekend riding and just hangin out. A lot of good times and ended up meeting another bueller up there and we cruise the town with 3 buells in front and about 4-10 other bikes riding in the group. One night we ended up hanging out at a gas station with our group of 7 and within an hour had 19 bikes total. Everything from buell to yamaha.. no hardleys :)

The one problem with getting that many people together on a friday night ride is the police. They were stalking us pretty bad and ended up giving away 2 exhibition tickets.. another time they gave a misuse of horn ticket to Harrison on his xb12 scg. I guess the police found out that the beep beep means that there is a cop around ;)

I think it would be easier to find locals on here if their location was near the post count.

That would be cool to put our city/town and state. Just imagine the comraderie and connections that could be made. Also, if a fellow member were having problems, moved to a new place, visiting, or stranded they could contact a fellow member on the forum for help.

I agree with Cutty. Adding our city/state would be a great benefit. I haven't met anyone from any forums I've been on yet. Pomona, CA here.
