found a battery strap but will it fit?

i found a battery strap on ebay for an 08 1125R. im in need of one for my 09 xb12ss. it looks similar. think it fits? the price is right anyways

Even the one on my xb is a giant pain in the ass to get on. I'm not sure if there's a secret I was missing or what, but after that I'm going to try to never remove it again if I don't have to. With how tight the stock one is I have a hard time saying anything won't fit. I'm not at home to measure mine though. I'd just ziptie the thing in there.
