found a small lock clip on my magnetic drain plug...

changed the oil and there was a small spread type locking clip stuck to the magnet.any ideas what this went to and how important it is? everything works fine..but this gets me worried..

Just curious... which oil was it from (engine/clutch)?

i am a bit its from the clutch.i just bought and fully customised the bike.but it seems to have no problems.

an you post a picture of it. It may have gotten picked up on the magnet on installation because it doesn't sound like it's out of the engine?

sounds like a circlip from the clutch screw contraption

looking at the manual,it looks like it. any idea how hard it will be to re install it?.took it for a ride yesterday..everything seems fine. except my neutral light does not come on anymore.

nope took it apart,the clutch screw clip is still there.same clip,but dont know where it came from or if i should take my chances and just ride it.
