Found something missing....is this gonna be a problem?

So I took apart my 04 bolt today to do breather reroute...and the thing on the top of the air box (exhaust valve I believe? ) has no cable going to it....is this gonna cause problems? I'm guessing previous owner removed it. Here's a pic...

They left it hooked up so the check engine light would not come on with stock ECM. It probably had a aftermarket pipe on it at some point and it was removed for sale.

Ok thank you. Yeah it has a d&d exhaust on it. I'm glad it's nothing to worry about.
