Well one more step in the process, I had the Primary Cover Coated to match the frame, I think I will have the timing cover done next week.

Never really could quite understand why Buell uses that damn rough black coating?!

Here it is and then a before Pic.

Hmmmm... now those black side rails really stand out. It's looking good though [up]

Time for frame pucks!

When everything else on the bike is black - wheels, frame, forks, swing arm, etc - like mine, that rough black paint looks damn good imo. It does look kinda misplaced otherwise.

Agree with the blacked out look, but it is such a bitch to keep that rough **** clean.

I was hoping the seat would hide the rails, we will see, I know Sara plans on doing silver rails so I can always swap them since her bike is almost all black with the CF parts.

Otherwise I am also doing a set of Metallic Blue plastics to match my truck which would look good with the black rails.

Maybe I will have to just buy a seond set of rails to swap out when I swapmy plastics back and forth.

I think the bike has gome a long ways. At first I wasn't digging it so much, but I've seen the light.[cool]

I think it looks great! If you had some crazy paint job I bet it would be insane.

I would like to do something crazy, but that just isn't me I am all about low key and clean.

If I were to do anything it would be a simple blue and silver two tone, but it already has a two tone, which looks sick, plus the colors are custom and clean but look like it could be stock so I don't want to mess it up.

Endless possibilities.

Looks great bro! keep it up, you are an aesthetic wizard hahaha sorry my "gf" just made me go see a harry potter movie.

Brandon your bike looks SO SICK!!!!!! I love the stretched look. My dream bike is gonna be stretched and i like how you did it while keeping the "stock" look. [up] [up]

I do like your paint! i bet it pops off real nice in person.

I think I'm going to make a paint job my winter project this year. Ah...I'm inspired!

I think Black/orange is what I want, even though it's not very original. But i love it!

WOW We need to talk brandon I so want my covers powder coated.
that crinkle black is a huge pain in the azz to clean
if you drop some wax on it it's impossible to get it off.
I am a Blue and silver junky.
Bike looks awsome man:)

I say you should coat it satin or gloss black to match your bike. F*^k the wrinkle black coating.

I'd like another one that I can paint, then swap it so I don't have down time. I was thinking about doing graphite gray to match the frame

I really like it, I think you changed my mind on blacking out my frame. I have been thinking about the blacked out look since I bought my bike but when they came out with the blacked out look it changed my mind and I was kind of stuck and still leaning towards it. Painting the frame is alot of work and I am probably goin to steal your idea (hope you dont mind [smirk]) . Now I am just tring to get an idea about the color combo to help accent the grey. I am really digging he bike though looks sick [up]

The fewer the colors the better when it comes to the silver frame IMO, otherwise it begins to look like your just reaching for something but not sure.

I Love the color of the paint but I cant wait to get the Indigo Blue plastic back on it.

This is the best close up I have of the paint now, And my before color which is what I want to go back to. Who knows I may have the colors on my bike now up for sale before to long which would include all the plastics on the last pic.

I am thinking something with green, like a green and white or green and black or something, the reason for the green is our shop is Shamrock Cycles so I would like to get that involed somewere on the bike. Not too much green but a little to make it stand out kind of like your bike, the basic but enough to make it stand out , as you say it a clean look. I really like your style and the look of the bike, it gives it the smooth out and flowing look, I would keep it the way it is.

Skelly here is a green that you could use and you could use all you want and it would stilll look sick. I believe the color is called Jeep Rescue.

I do like that green but i need something a little more green green if you know what I mean. I am thinking like the silver frame with a pearl white and slight hints of green throughout and getting the rims powder coated green. I like the trim around the lights and the red in the lens if I could get some green in there somewhere I think it would come out good, how did you get the red in the lens? I am also thinking of doing a litle ring around the exhaust on the tip green just to give it the finished look. I like to do the little things that stand out when you really take a close look at it.
