front wheel

ok guys i notice yesterday that there is about an 1/16 - 1/8" space between my left fork and wheel and just need to know if it is suppose to be there. the other side is tight. i will try and post some pictures later.

there are spacers and just the shape of the axle make it OK to have this gap. Just try to jiggle the wheel across the axle, if it doesn't move you're solid. I had the same question a while ago.

if i loosen the pinch bolts on the forks i can move the front forks on the axle. so i guess i need to look in to getting spacers if i need them.

I wondered the same thing the first time I took my front wheel off to get a new tire. After some research, from the sound of it, this is completely normal. Mine, has been like that since I have gotten it and I haven't had a problem. If your wheel can physical move side to side at all then i'd say do something about it. Mine does not budge.
