FS: 2009 Buell Lightning XB12Ss

2009 XB12Ss. Roughly 3800 miles (I commute to amd from work 12 miles each day.) It has new translucent Cherry bomb plastics. Bought and installed them last month. Bike is in excellent shape. Recent filter and oil change (primary too) with Amsoil synthetic. Change was done ~500miles ago.

Mods include:
-aftermarket mirrors that use the factory mounting points, but less obtrusive than stock.
- Keda Designs RT-XB1 Black exhaust. Best pipe ive ever had!! ($700)
-Frame pucks
-Right Side Scoop
-Breather re-route.
-I have a cut up airbox, and also an airbox delete plate. So new owner can decide which they want to run
-EBR ecm tuned for current setup
-K&N air filter
-LED signals (LED strips in the back...see video)
-LED relay so they blink normal.
-tail chop

Belt guard removed, but I kept all the parts.
Comes with owner's manual and 2 keys.
The bike has never been dropped, damaged, or raced. Always kept out of the elements. Adult owned and ridden mainly as a commuter.

The bike is in Ft Walton Beach/Destin, FL (Eglin AFB area) I am currently financing the bike through USAA. I have my title in hand. Once payment is received, you can take the bike. I will pay off the bike and mail you the clear title via certified mail. If you wish to use a cashiers check and pay usaa directly, that is acceptable as well. However the bike will not be released until payment has cleared.

Price is $6,800 FIRM. I will sell for 6600 if you don't want ebr ECM or air filter. If you do, all stock parts are included except stock muffler. I have a Corbin Gunfighter seat and the lady backrest. This is not included, but will sell to buyer for $400 if you want it.

There aren't many low mileage newer blacked out models left. I am giving everyone on her first dibs. If it doesnt sell, I will eventually go to craigslist and eBay routes.

Good eye. It's a cannondale carbon flash 29er. Unfortunately I can't do trades cause I still owe on the bike.

what color were the old plastics you had? Are you willing to sell the seat with out the backrest?

The bike was black from factory. I bought translucent, Valencia orange before buying these cherry bomb plastics.

I won't sell the seat unless the bike sells because I love the Corbin and will continue riding it if the bike doesn't sell, and in case I change my mind about selling, like I did last time. [smirk]


If someone doesn't want the bike with the Keda pipe, I'll knock off $300 from the price. So $6300 if someone doesn't want the aftermarket goodies that's on it.
