I am leaving the civilian life and have joined the Air Force as an officer. This choice has resulted in a cut in my income so I am attempting to offset it, so the motorcycle is first to the chopping block. [sad]
I don't want to sell it, and really don't have to...would be nice to just free up some extra funds each month.
Now for the bike...
2009 XB12Ss. Roughly 3300miles. It is subject to change as it is still licensed and insured. It has new translucent Valencia Orange plastics. Bought and installed them last month. Bike is in excellent shape. Recent filter and oil change (primary too) with Amsoil synthetic. Change was done <200miles ago.
Mods include:
-1 Bar end mirror. I also have a set of extra mirrors that use the factory mounting points, but less obtrusive than stock.
-Hawk muffler with single outlet (the loud setup)
-Frame pucks
-Right Side Scoop
-Breather re-route.
-Reflective wheel stripes (easily removed if desired)
-I have a cut up airbox, and also an airbox delete plate. So new owner can decide which they want to run
-EBR ecm
-K&N air filter
-LED signals (LED strips in the back)
-LED relay so they blink normal.
Belt guard removed, but I kept all the parts.
Comes with owner's manual and 2 keys.
The bike has never been dropped, damaged, or raced Always kept out of the elements. Adult owned and ridden mainly as a commuter.
Currently, the bike is located near Logan, WV. In about 5 weeks, and provided the bike doesn't sell, I will transport it with me to Destin, FL (Eglin AFB area)where it will remain for sale. I am currently financing the bike through USAA.
Price is $6,500. If you don't want the EBR ecm and K&N, I will reinstall the stock versions and take off $200...so $6,300. Prices are firm.
There aren't many low mileage newer models left. I have priced the bike to what I consider a great value. I am giving everyone on her first dibs. If it doesnt sell, I will eventually go to craigslist and eBay routes.
