Clean title in hand.
I bought this bike 4 weeks ago from my local HD dealer with 5500 miles. I do like the bike(must like it if i put 1500 miles on it in 4 weeks and i dont commute to work), but I really want back on a cbr.
Color is black, with silver frame and wheels. This is a great looking bike! I would keep it if had the money.. these bikes serve and provide a very unique riding experience.. and IMO, are aa great starter bike due to the fact that there are very maneuverable and the power band doesnt beg you to ring it out like a 600 inline 4 would.. that and the lack of fairings discourages you from tripple digits speeds.
Since i purchased the bike i have performed the following:
-new matching dunlop front tire
-new front brake pads
-new clutch cable and trojan soft clutch pull mod( and yes, the clutch action is now super light like the typcial late model supersport. before it was kinda bothersome and fatigued my ring and pinky finger kuckles)
-new dual 55w 6k(not obnoxiously blue, much more white color tint) HID with slim ballasts from DDM.
Synthetic oil change.
-Crg roll-a-click shorty levers, black with silver adjusters.
-bike came with the puck frame protectors.
Bike was dropped by the previous owner without the pucks installed, so you can make out some scratches underneath the new puck. other than that and a small scuff on the bottom of the stator cover, there are no other visible imperfections/eye sores.
PRICE is $3200, Firm. And if you are a new rider i will throw in a free size SM matte black modular(the fron face lifts up, but looks like a traditional full face helmet)Fulmer helmet that i bought at the HD dealer as well. this helmet suits the bike so wel and also sits nicely on the gauge cluster with the helmet lid lifed up and stretching over the windscreen... i'll take a pictue so you can see what i am talking about when i say the helmet "suits" the bike.
Sorry i didnt post pics, its dark and i literally just thought about selling it today as i came across a late model 600RR for sale locally that i really like. Price is firm, i will post it on craigslist for $3400 or $3600. Will have some pics posted before the end of day tomorrow.. Was just anxious to see if there would be any interest locally to give me a heads up on my odds of selling it by the weekend so i can scoop this honda while its still available.
