I have a full set of bodywork off a 2003 XB9S. They are orange and are in excellent condition. I switched to black and gold several months after I got my Lightning because I'm on the conservative side. But they were starting to grow on me. You will definitely stand out from the other bikes you see. I can't tell you who painted them and whether or not the orange is a Buell, HD or whatever color. It is an excellent paint job and it does a much better job of hiding swirls and fingerprints than my new black plastics. Original owner had a Buell tech for a brother in law, so I'm guessing it was a professional job. $275 Shipped in lower 48. I'll have to figure out the breakdown for individual parts. I'm in St.Louis, MO. Thanks, Steve Clough
Photos aren't that great. No marks on the plastics except on the chin fairing around bolt holes. Buell decal is a dark gray to match gray on chin fairing.

I see your intent on selling these but I have a unique set of plastics on my03 xb9s I would trade for the solid color . If interested let me know aand ill post pics

Thanks for the offer but you're right I'm set on selling this set and I'm happy with my black/gold set. Thanks anyway!

Sorry I was gone for a couple of days. You know I can't find a compatibility chart. I know it's been discussed many times before but I just can't find the right thread. I had it figured out last year when I put my used black plastics together. Hopefully, someone can help us out. I'll keep looking...

Thanks for the interest. I leave town in the summer so I've about given up on selling the pieces until the fall. Lots of interest but no takers. Kluffer

The plastics are sold to a good home. Neat story: The guy that put on the orange paint decided he missed his Buell. He found a cheap one in Kansas and will be putting his old orange parts on his new bike. Turns out he paints airplanes for a living. No wonder the orange pieces had a much better paint job than the oem black I replaced them with.

I just now found this thread and LOVE this orange plastic! I understand that the old owner bought them back, but how much would he charge to paint another set?!?
