I was wondreing what fuel milage riders getting on the 1125r & cr? Highway and city if possible.

I think most report mileage around 150 miles per tank, mixed city/highway, less of course when you romp on it. :D

Mrlogix do you heve a r or cr? I have a veary similar comute to work. Mine is 50m no trafic in morning, heavy trafic home. On my 12r I get 50 mpg. Reason for asking is my XB is getting a lot of miles on it, going to need somthing new while I rebuild. Tring to decide on a XB or 1125.

Are you allowed to lane split in your area? If not, and you are going to be sitting in traffic baking the electronics, make sure that if you get an 1125 it has the EBR rotor to help cool the stator.

I live in California, lane splitting is legal here. Is the stator the big problem with 1125

The three most common problems are the Clutch weep, the stator, and the water pump seal I think. Clutch weep and stator are pretty easy fixes. The water pump seal is more involved since you have to remove the rear header.

09 has the stator issue. 08 and 09 had the clutch weep. Also watch out for rear pulley side bearing. I had to replace the rear wheel because it slipped around and wore out the seat where the bearing race rode.

I have an 1125R (2008) and it gets around 35MPG in the city depending on traffic and how heavy my wrist is that day. I have gotten as high as 45MPG highway, but usually around 42MPG... My commute is mixed and stays somewhat in between those two numbers...usually around 37.
