Fuel overflow line

So I just got home from gassing up and grabbing some Sonics. I look down as im waiting for my food and notice I must have overfilled my tank, cuzz gas is dripping out of the overflow line..right onto my exhaust...Whos bright idea was it to run that line right over the exhaust??? So..I have some black quickcuffs and I plan on relocating that line after my food. Just thought Id warn anyone else with a firebolt, not sure if its only mine or whatnot but id check if I were you.

my 07 is the same way. strange place to run gas out i agree. oil changes bring the same question to mind.

Doesn't hit the exhaust on mine...oddness. Post a pic of where it is located and I'll tell you if it's right or not, may have gotten moved when you did an airbox mod, or the breather re-route if either of those apply...
