Fuel pressure sensor short to supply voltage/broken wire.

Randomly got this when I rode today. Tried resetting on Ecmdroid and its still there.

Checked all my fuses and it’s good.

Is there a fuel pressure sensor going bad and where is it located?

2009 xb12xt

25k miles

Thanks

FPS non-existent on all 2009 XB models. Specifically unique to 2010 XB with DDDFI-3 electronics along with 1125 Rotax powered models.
FPS #P0221.1AM factory part # and never installed on any 2009 XB's. Code associated with intermittent substantial voltage drop that the ECM saw. Clear fault code and ignore it.

On ecmdroid is the fuel pressure sensor box needed to be checked or unchecked?

With it checked I get this check engine error.

With it unchecked the fuel pump won’t prime.

Not sure if I messed with the ecmdroid and forgot something that was triggering all this issues.

Hmmmm....

Access your ECM again
Check for enable EEPROM burning
Check the "optimized burning box"
Check "IEV system enabled"
Uncheck "pressure sensor"
See if that resolves the active CEL

It was probably a corrupted eeprom file. Went back to the original and it fixed it
