fuel pump blues

my bikes been giving me grief all season,ran good one day,bad the next.Out for a ride , running great when it quits. Blown fuel pump fuse.Couldn't find out why so took it to the dealer.Problem #1, bad fuel pump,problem #2 none in Canada,problem #3none in the US.Good news it's getting fixed under waranty . Bad news could be a 3 to 5 week wait.They are trying to get one right from the factory.It could be worse I guess,I could owe a HD.(lol)

Just took my 09 in because i was blowing the fuel pump fuse. I will not know what to do if my bike is laid up that long in the shop. Im suppose to be going on a long ride with ALOT of guys on the 31st. anyone in the syracuse area want to lend me there bike

yeah, it is real common thing on '09s. the good news is that the theyll fix it under warranty. The bad news is that the replace it with the same thing, so get used to going to the dealer
