Fuel Quantity

Wanted to see what people were getting for milage before the fuel light comes on and then how much fuel are you able to put in when you refill???
Reason i ask is i'm getting on average 125 miles then the light comes on, but when i fill up i'm only able to put about 2.5 to 2.7 gallons in before i reach the rim.
Trying to also find out if my fuel sensor is indicating a little early as i thought i had a 3.8 gallon tank on my 2005 XB12S and the light should come on when it hits the .8 marker hence able to put at least 3 gallons in.
Anyone else seeing this??

I'm consistently getting 150miles on my bike before the fuel light comes on. It generally takes 3.5 gallons to fill back up.

This is on a 3 week old 2007 XB12Ss with 600 miles on it.

what kind of riding is it that you guys do??? city, freeway hard riding...... i have never been able to put 3 gallons in mine and that's even after riding another 12 to 15 miles after the light comes on

I mostly do city driving and I get the rpms up there quite a bit on smooth rollons.
