Fumes and Oil leak

I dont have any pictures because it wont let me upload.

I have a heavy golden stain near my gas cap. It is not comming from the gas cap but the small black plastic piece that is about two inches to the right from sitting on the bike. It is slightly hidden because of the air box cover. It also has a hose protrding from the piece. Any clue on what it is or how to prevent this from occuring would greatly help.

Also when checking my air filter I noticed oil accumlating in the back left side of the plastic air filter case. Any help on this matter would also be appreciated!

the piece by the gas cap with the tube is a vent for the tank make sure its not plugged up letting pressure build up.remove air box upper and lower and check engine breathers to see if it pulled out of the head and is causing an oil leak.

you can do a breather reroute a few people have on here and have some good pictures as far as the vent on fuel tank anrkizm95 is right make sure its not pluged pull it off the bike and find a flat o-ring and no more leak thats what i did

there is an o-ring on the vent itself part number is po229.02a8 thats for an 06 uly should fit most xb models

Thanks I got it figured out now. And breather re-route is coming this winter!
