Phelps clan gets blocked

There's now a template on how to deal with the morons from this so-called Westboro Baptist Church in Topeka. You know, the ones who make a habit of protesting the funerals of fallen soldiers because, in for what passes as brains, they think this is retribution because of the United States' tolerance of gays.
Fred Phelps and his family were attempting to protest the funeral last Saturday of USMC Staff Sgt. Jason Rogers of Brandon, Miss.
Apparently, one family member a day or so before the funeral was at a convenience store running his mouth a little too much for the locals. Well, let's just say boys will be boys after that one.
But the most effective part was later. Some townspeople found out what motel the Phelps clan was at. The day of the funeral, they then used trucks to park behind and block every vehicle with Kansas license plates. Police were called but, darn it, their wrecker service was running behind and it was going to be a few hours before they could tow the trucks so the Kansas-plated cars could get out. Phelps and most of his ilk missed the funeral.
A few made it to the funeral but were ushered away to be questioned about a crime they might have possibly been involved in. Turns out, after a few hours of questioning, that they were not involved and they were allowed to go on about their business.
