I've got an 06 Uly. I'm installing the comfort kit. I've got to the step to remove the "Fuse block and relay center" I've got the factory manual, but it doesn't say how it comes out. I searched the forum and I don't see any info here either.
Q: Does it just pull out? There is a couple of tabs that looks like its holding it in. Do i pull the tabs out like some connectors?
Q2: Is it in one or two pieces?
It looks like this could break easily so I'm reluctant to pull too hard and break something which would create one hell of a mess.
Thanks for any help!

It should be the same fitting as on my SS so there are 2 sprung plastic tabs which you gently pull out and gently lift the unit at the same time, you may have to wiggle it as its very hard to spring both tabs at the same time! the tabs click into a metal mounting bracket. Its these 2 tabs wherever they are on your specific fuse box 19156_20140701142356_L.jpg The 2 tiny little ones in the centre of the 2 brackets you can just see them in this pic! hope that helps?

Thanks Tone. The tabs that I needed to pull back were indeed the two tabs you mentioned. The unit slides off the battery pan as can be seen by the two aluminum lines on either side of the bolt head toward the right side of the fuse relay block in your photo. I just needed to wiggle it like you said. Its an 06 so its been on there for 10 years and just needed a little muscle.

Next is the ECM relocation. I thought I was immune from that disease, but I have scuffing on the ECM connector, wire chafing on one wire and one wire actually wore down to the copper. Time for some creative solutions to resolve this one.

I think I just may do that Tone. I installed a Hawk muffler this morning and gave the ecm relocation some thought. I think I have a unique solution but need to scrap up some minor parts. I also need to sort out the ecm now that Ive installed the hawk muffler. The ecm I have now is stock so I need to either remap or get a race ecm. I'd like to remap but ecm spy seems a bit daunting. I have the cable but need a new computer since I'm all Mac in this house.

^^^ Thats a good link John has found you there and someone can offer advice on the mapping when you have it all relocated if you need any help that is and mate to me all that talk of EcmSpy etc is like a martian language! i really admire anyone who understands it! good luck!

^^^^^^^ my pleasure and happy to help. having someone else do the R&D on these little projects saves valuable time and energy. what you are really looking to accomplish here is remove the inter-face if you will between the seat pan and the plug portion of the ecm unit. that seems to be the sensitive portion of the ecm and the area prone to cracking and ruining the ecm if consistently rubbed against.
