My parents own 4 cabins they rent about 15 minutes from Fontana Dam, and about 30 minutes from the Dragon. http://offthedeepinn.com/ I know they have some openings. I believe it's $85/night. My dad built the cabins himself. He takes great pride in them. Give them a call, sometimes they don't answer, so leave a message for them to call back.

depending on where we are at the time. we're planning a "no plans" ride around the area and might hook up w/ you all if it's in the stars. Just to let ya know we're a couple of ol' farts who enjoy the crap outta our Buells riding around the SE and camping off them. keep us posted and we may bop in.
