Anybody have garage facilities in the San Diego area that they are willing to let a fellow Bueller use or rent? My stator finally bit the dust the other day on the way home from work ('09 1125R). I only have a carport at my place and vehicle maintenance is not allowed. I'm looking for a place where I can tear it apart and let it sit while the core parts are shipped to EBR and Rick's and replacements are shipped out from EBR/Rick's.

LOL, it took me 14 years to get to the point where the wife ignores the bike's existence, in contrast to actively opposing it, I don't think rolling it into the living room would have positive results. :D

I think you have your self a decision to make. Lol your wife will get over it tell her while the bike is in the kitchen you will cook. Haha

I would offer my garage and tools, but unfortunately find myself overfull between bikes and tool boxes.

Curious does this mean you leave your bike out in the carport? So far south thats risky, and theft is common around SD

It's blocked in at night, no way they'd get it out without moving my cars first. During the day it is secured with these anchored to the carport:

hope you find someone in the area. If i was closer i would open up my garage for you.

locks and chains only keep a honest person honest a professional would have a plasma touch and cut right through that like butter just sayin
Completely agree with you. It's a matter of how much time can I buy myself before their effort is noticed. If they really want the bike nothing (including a locked garage) short of an armed guard is going to stop them.

Now once I get the thing on the road again I feel like I have to go make a stunting video.
