IDK about the 1190. Was talking to Erik via facebook, mentioned I was looking forward to seeing the 1190 at Miller end of May. He didn't sound like it would for sure make it. His words, "it would be tight to make it to Miller" :(

from
Erik Buell Racing:
Better today. Geoff wound up 12th. A solid finish, and so with 20th yesterday we got out of Daytona with some points. Geoff rode really well. He was 15MPH down on the leaders! He deserves the 1190.
................................................................

and as of today now Erik Buell Racing team & Geoff May has 9 points , today with a best lap time of 1:40.569 !

ok I figured I would put this video here too,
Because of the Info on the race bikes and also Erik Buell's & Geoff May's insight on the race bike and how it handles and the engineers info on the great new Inovations of the new EBR race bikes.

for discussion on the other aspects of the video please see this thread. Erik-Buell-Racing-Show-in-Chicago

Erik Buell: via facebook,

Geoff and the team pulled off an 8th place yesterday with the old 1125RR. Running very lean - no engineering support at the track because everyone's at the facility building 1190RS bikes. We are very proud of the guys! When they get the 1190, they'll do better. Don't expect the 1190 to be immediately at the front, because the competition is tough, and we have to learn how to set up the new bike.
Erik Buell Racing
Hard work in Sunday's race. Geoff spun the tire on the rim on the restart, which threw it out of balance. That made the bike bounce around and hurt traction out of the corners. So he had quite an exhausting ride! We need to make sure Dunlop mounts the tires dry, no lubricant, because the bike has a lot of torque and a lot of grip. He did well to finish 12th!

This past weekend (May 14-15) the AMSOIL EBR Racing team competed at Infineon Raceway in Sonoma, California for race 2 of the AMA Pro National Guard SuperBike Series. Geoff May and the AMSOIL EBR Racing team performed exceptionally well, placing 8th in Saturday’s event and 12th on Sunday’s.

more news from EBR...

Erik Buell Racing
Unfortunately we will not be bringing the EBR 1190RS bikes to Miller. Too little time to get them ready, tested, and hauled out there. So the team will run the Buell 1125RR's. Our focus has been 99.9% on 1190RS street bike production and we simply weren't able to do both. Maybe Road America, but not likely, as it is only one week later. We should be good for Barber, definitely for Mid-Ohio.

I know a dealer that's getting one of the 1190's if anyone has 45k laying around. :D

Don't quote me on the price though, lol
