I saw you the other day. You buy it off Craigslist? We should meet up. There was a guy on here that went to the dragon last year that rode a white 12R. He sold it a couple months ago.

What year bikes do you have? I have a white 03 xb9r.

I have 04 xb12r red

I've got an 07 xb12r, black w/ red wheels...my bike wont even hold a full charge for a complete day...hopefully its just a bad ground somewhere and not the regulator or stator. I've got the upgraded regulator plugs but i dont have the right crimps to put them on. My electrical knowlegde is zero but I will try to find the ground myself and if not take it to somebody.

Shoot if you need help I could ride over and take a look one day. Have you had the battery tested? When did this begin? If its just started the cold weather may have killed the battery. If not it won't be to much trouble to check the grounds. Flaxb9r was having a similar issue. I will check back in my messages and see what he replaced. May give us a hint into the problem your having. His is an 03 though...

Just checked my messages and his was the voltage regulator. Here is a link, but I would diagnose further instead of just throwing parts at it. Voltage regulator

You might even find it cheaper at the dealer if that's what it is. Who knows....[cool]

im in douglasville/winston/lithia springs area.. give a heads up if ya coming thru we'll take the fun roads around here. got a 05 xb12s with some kind of red and black graffix on it. waiting on my new coil right now and this time im going to run the ground from it to the battery and hope it does the trick.

Here is the link to my charging issue. You may be able to look through it and get some help. I got a lot of help from the guys that chimed in on it. Also pm me if you have any questions.

Multimeter and a service manual (which you should be able to download) and you can trouble shoot the problem.

Cant remember if it was a bolt or ligthning but I met a guy in gwinnett, 141 access road, about a month ago riding a white buell. I was on my lunch break in a black suv, was that you GAXB9R?

Either way I wanna learn how to do all this stuff so i'll get into myself. If I dont figure it out, which is highly likely, we'll get up and I'll let you take a look at her.

Might have been. I do know of one other Buell XB12R here in GA that is white with blue rims. This used to be convict pitbull on here, but he got rid of it for some crazy reason. It had a D&D exhaust on it so it was loud as hell. Does that sound like the white one you saw?
