Post you progress on this when you get the software in. I am curious how things will work out.

My last bike came with a cable and a factory race ECU for the D&D on it so I was never able to get into the ecu. My new bike as a factory exhaust. I gutted the exhaust and wanted to tune the ecu for it but I need to find my cable...one move later and things are still tucked away that need unpacking. Hopefully I can find it this weekend...
