getting rid of scratches

hey guys, I have some scuffs/scratches on the passenger seat cover of my xb12r. I'm guessing it was from my shoe when I swung my leg over, I need to be more careful! I now need to get rid of the scratches/scuffs now, I've tried magic eraser, soap and water, polishing compound on a rag. i just wanted to make sure that anyone didn't have any tricks before I broke out the pneumatic buffer?

Mothers plastic polish you can get it at pep-boys. If it is to deep I wet sanded mine and sprayed adhesive promoter then cleared it. It came out really good.
