Well looked at four Buells today and three out of four have hit the ground in one way or another..Can't anyone take a little pride in there bike and keep them upright!!!So the search continues.Will keep you guy informed. Thanks for all the help.

My bike has hit the ground twice. It still looks fantastic. I take a lot of pride in my bike, but when I ride, I don't pussyfoot around. A bike falling over or taking a little slide could be an opportunity to get a killer deal. What are you worried about? A teen on a bike? It's going to go down at some point. Sorry to say it, but it's the truth.

LOL I know.One bike at a dealer, ask if had race ecm and couldnt tell me anything about bike is there a way to see with out pulling fairing on a xb?bike did have a cust exs.Its a 05 7000mile with a little road rash on left side im thinking $3000 to $3200 ,they were asking 4600 and now 3999.00 what to you guys think?

I wouldn't touch it if it has frame damage, but plastic damage is easy to fix, and swing arms are cheap. Look for chips on the wheels. How easy is it to turn the bars? It's really hard to give an estimate with out a lot more description and possibly pictures.

my boy will get his 1st bike next year when he is 5 years... 50ccm dirt bike with full gear. so when I live long enough it will be an XB12 when he is 16 latest when he is 18... u have to teach them right then the risk and amount of damage keeps justifiable... plus 1 for AGATE

Not really a big deal if I can get it for the price I want.I know the kid is going to ride it hard thats why we buy bikes like this.Still have 2 more weeks til first 1/4 is over to look at his grades see if I can hold off that long.
