I went to the dealership today to have them check my timing before I do some tuning with ECMSPY. They checked it, it was fine, and they didn't charge me for it either! Score!
I went over to a scotch rocket dealership after to see a friend of mine, and when I went to leave to go on a ride with him, my bike didn't want to start, and when it did, it was running on only one cylinder! I putted home, and the front cylinder header was cold. Fouled a plug I guess. [sad] At least I have a project for tomorrow.

I had a couple of spare hours last weekend and thought I would change plugs to some new Iridium ones that I bought a month or so ago. After spending half an hour taking various bits off the bike, I still couldn't see how I was going to get access to both plugs - I eventually gave up and put it back together without getting a wrench anywhere near them [sad]. Dave, what's the secret - or have you just got VERY small hands? Thanks

No problem. The search has shortcomings, and is hit & miss at best. I keep that one & many others handy in my profile. [up]

Lord;
I'm not sure what parts you tried taking off, but I removed a few and had no problem getting at the spark plugs...

After replacing the plug, she fired right up. I haven't taken it around the block yet. It's still burning off a lot of extra fuel that didnt get burnt.

I actually took that picture before I was done. Swingarm is off the bike, wheel is off the swingarm.

I have the frame done, ready for paint. Swingarm is patched (removing some light scratching), just need to finish scuffing it to get it ready to paint.

I need to take care of the rear-sets, about 4 pieces of plastic, and the tail loop... then we should be ready for some paint.

Nice Buelysses. I've been wanting to do the samething, just haven't found the time and patience to do so yet.

I'll second that, bitter...one of these days I'll get mine all torn down and painted like I want. It's just hard to do when your bike is your daily driver! [sad]

Ok, so I got the seat supports and the center of the chin fairing painted the same time I had my truck done the week before last...

I guess I never really paid attention to the repair done to my truck, but I was looking at the truck today, the dude painted the repair (and the parts of my bike) the wrong damn color. I'll give him credit, he did a good job blending the repair in... You can't tell without really looking at it that it's the wrong bloody *#*@ing color! ARGH!
