Got a new Truck

I'm getting a new truck. It's an international prostar or a freightliner cascadea either way it'll have about 500hp and anywhere from 650-850 ft of torque. My gvw will still be 80,000lbs. I probably won't be able to put as much in the trailer because the truck will be a little heavier then the one I got now but the fuel economy will be decent. I mean come on you can't beat 7 mile to a gallon.

10 wheels is a truck 18 is a combination truck trailer. Also commonly refereed to a tractor-trailer or a semi. It doesn't became 18 wheels until you hook up to the trailer. Otherwise it's just the truck with 10 wheels

So I dont want to be called a liar, here is my old 2010 Raptor SVT I sold. And here is my duaghter when we picked up my new Durango. She is happy she gets to watch the cartoon network on the rear tv.

I've got one of the first new HEMIs ('04 Durango). You will love it, and if you pull the bike, you will barley know it is back there except for the annoying tailgater :). A MUST-DO is the K & N filter. With that, Amsoil, and nothing else done, cruise control at 75MPH, I get 21-22 MPG consistently...in the city, she is thirsty though, 14 MPG. You will love it! Mine is a blast in the winter. Thank goodness she only takes the copper plugs, though. 2 plugs per hole!

Must be nice to have that kind of dough.

I drive an old F250 with the powerstroke diesel and my buell is in 1,000 pieces (literally).

I need to win the lotto

True that, why not a Cummins extreme?

Well the military has been very good to me and my wife has a descent job to.
Ronmetzler- yes it has a dvd player, a place to hook up a playstation and you can watch tv through XM/Sirus radio.
I am very happy with the power of the HEMI. They don't make the durango with a cummins.
As soon as an aftermarket exhaust gets made /i will be doing that, K&N and diablo programmer.

I have to take it in on Monday to get the Perma-plate done. Its a spray that gets placed on the outside and inside. covers a 5 year warranty. If anything gets on the paint and doesn't come off, it will be fixed under warranty, as for the inside If I get any stains inside or even puncture a seat they replace it. pretty good deal.

Xtreme ,I talked to few guys from dealer and getting mixed answers with putting on after market parts. What have you heard.

Per federal law they have to prove that the modifications done caused the failure. I have posted what I found on it below.

Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act (15 U.S.C. 2302(C))

This federal law regulates warranties for the protection of consumers. The essence of the law concerning aftermarket auto parts is that a vehicle manufacturer may not condition a written or implied warranty on the consumers using parts or services which are identified by brand, trade, or corporate name (such as the vehicle maker's brand) unless the parts or service are provided free of charge. The law means that the use of an aftermarket part alone is not cause for denying the warranty. However, the law's protection does not extend to aftermarket parts in situations where such parts actually caused the damage being claimed under the warranty. Further, consumers are advised to be aware of any specific terms or conditions stated in the warranty which may result in its being voided. The law states in relevant part:

No warrantor of a consumer product may condition his written or implied warranty of such product on the consumers using, in connection with such product, any article or service (other than article or service provided without charge under the terms of the warranty) which is identified by brand, trade or corporate name... (15 U.S.C. 2302(C)).

Well, you should be fine with filter and exhaust, programmers are a sketchy issue. If you have a warranty issue just turn it back to stock before taking it in.
