got ecm spy I NEED HELP!

[confused]i got ecm spy cable on ebay....hooked it up to my s3t didnt do anything else but reset the tps....now the bike wont run at all....i can get it to Idle if i togle the switch and the fuelpump is cycling but after about 6 sec it chugs and shuts off
i cant believe it [confused] can any one help me?

sounds like a faulty tps reset.

It took me 4 times to get a good tps reset once. Also, gently hold the throttle closed while doing it.

ok i have tried to reset a few times now....seems weird but the numbers never change.... no matter what position i do the reset in all 3 numbers stay the same[confused]

did you click the keys on the top left of the screen before doing the tps reset?

Check the com port to see if program recognizes a connection.

yes it dose....i can get everything to communicate...
and for the short time it runs it is communicating....

cranks good....acording to the ecmspy it is @ 12.5
with the key on
i jus noticed thoinlet air temp reads 125c.[confused]

did download the proper driver for the cable to work with your computer?

do you have windows XP, vista , or windows 7 ?

xp....i loaded the driver that that came on the cd that came with the cable

OK, on your adjustment cable unwind it way out, like if you zero out the TPS keep going out about five turns. Then hit TPS reset. Now bring TPS % up to around 5.1. Now start the bike. This should idle pretty good, adjust to around 1000 rpm.

did that ...no diceall the way out it reads
0 deg/0%/.85v....reset still reads the same...
@ 5.1 the screw is all the way in!
reads 4.6deg/5.1%/1.31v
and my lil closed loop window says tps13

Hmmm, don't panic yet. You may need to the the procedure I mentioned again but back the cable all the way out after it hits zero. You'll need room after the 5.1 to adjust idle so if it's all the way in you wont be able to.

i backed it out till the butterfly got stuck .....
did it again and even after the reste the numbers r still the same....[confused]
