So today was the first time I've taken the Buell out on the freeway...and the wind beat me like a redhead stepchild.

On another note, over the weekend, the Buell went from this:

[mad] damn...gold levers are coming in the mail.

I like the dark look too, but i dunno if it's overkill since my helmet and jacket are both black :D

Oh yeah [up][up]for mace25 for the cool plastics!

dont wory about the wind, you'll get used to it fast. at first I didnt like it either but now I cruise 75-80 no problem

Well, I'm still keeping the yellow in case I wanna change back, sorry freak2180. I changed in the first place cuz my brother in law's 748 is already yellow.

I still have the chin fairing but that's still yellow. I took it off beacuse I was checking for an oil leak mentioned by the previous owner, but have kinda grown used to it off.

1972c10, I'm wondering if I'm just light as well. Only 130 and it felt like if I checked my blindspot, I'd get ripped off the bike, so I had the kung-fu death grip the whole way. I guess it's like you said, i'm just not used to it yet.:D

I'm not a carbon fan. I would've went with a flat black windscreen as well.

What was involved in blacking out your engine? or did it come black already....

The carbon wrap was available so i went with that to wrap the windscreen. I didn't do anything to black out the engine; whatever is there should be the stock color.

iman501, lol, gonna keep that too just in case.
