GPR Stabilizers

Not to be a dick, but, a 12R would be a Firebolt, a 12S would be a Lightening... So... Firebolt

I don't know the difference as I own 2 1125's, so I have to ask to insure the right parts get shipped.

Thanks for the info, I'll write that in the GPR catalog as my cheat notes. [up]

No problem, as I said, I wasn't trying to be a dick at all. Thanks for clarifying.

Anybody know if the fat bar risers will work with a stabilizer? I have the Precision Engineering ones like pictured.

A lot of the risers I've seen came with extra threaded holes. I remember asking what the holes were for and someone said the were put there in case you wanted to use a stabilizer. If yours didn't come with those holes, you could probably drill and tap them yourself.

Mine does have the extra holes I was just wondering if the spacing was right and if the extra 1 inch rise would mess up the mounting angle...I really need a stabilizer for these rough roads up here.

Give Loren a call at GPR when you get a chance and bring this up to him. It may be of interest to him as he may have or may develop a taller bracket to suit your needs. 619-661-0101 If you don't have any luck I can contact him and see what info he may need.

Let me know if you find anything out about the fat bar risers. I want to put a set on my bike. What company makes them to fit the gpr?

I sent an email today inquiring. If someone is in the San Diego Ca area with a Fat Bar kit it may be worth while to try and hook up with GPR if they don't already offer a fat bar option.

Loren,

Buell offered a fat bar conversion for their bikes and I have received several inquires in regards to if the GPR will fit it. I have not seen a fat bar kit first hand so my assumption is that it raises the bars and risers with the additional diameter. Have you seen this and do you offer a bracket to compensate for the height difference? The same question for those who have installed taller risers, are we able to accommodate them.

Good luck getting to 150 tho!!!

I got to 168 but ran out of road! (2009 1125R w/ Jardine RT-5 Slip-on)

If this keeps that from happening, I may be in the market soon!
