Puzzled-
The wrong GPR was sent (for XB12R). Perhaps two were mixed up?

No mix up. Simply wrong part number.

The confusion comes in with the Buell model numbers. As someone who has never owned an air cooled Buell I have no clue what all those numbers stand for model wise. I simply need to know Lightning or Firebolt and I failed to ask that with your order.

Quick question. Maybe a dumb one but I will ask it anyway. Puzzled is there any way to mount one of these on a lightning with aftermarket bar setup? I heard it has to be stock but really don't wanna go with a big ugly fork mounted stabilizer

I'd be lying if I gave you an answer. I saw in the one thread where those who have done it said it can be done. I myself have no firsthand knowledge. My question would be what is the limiting factor when changing bars? Does the stabilizer height change thus the tank bracket doesn't work? Does a bar change use a different set of risers maintaining the same top mount height? Is there a bar with a stock center (clamp area) with a larger outer diameter?

GPR doesn't show that they don't fit any specific model. They simply want to know Firebolt or Lightning with the XB series.
