Yeah everything happens for a reason. This forum has helped alot over the past 7 months some discussions, alot of reading, and buying parts.
I don't ride with squids again maybe if people took time to read a whole post they would see that me and some kids went riding then some random kid joined us. The helmet was for her and I could care less what footwear she's wearing. It's Better than flip flops or high heels right??

I don't care if you wear one of these while riding:
You're still taking chances. Protective gear just makes sense to me. But you're right, it is your life and what you wear is of your concern.
personally, i made my girl wear MORE gear than myself. i actually hated the idea of her getting hurt so much that i took the rear pegs off completely. But that's me being me

^^ did the same, I didn't let her ride until I had the bike 6 months. If I picked her up and didn't have any extra gear with me I made her wear all mine and I rode without. I didn't care about me, just her.

As far as rrh481 go,s.....
He is a safe rider. He is also very knowledgeable about his Bike's. I know him personally and he has helped me out for free. He actually came to my house and downloaded ecm spy on my laptop, gave me a clutch cable and gave my bike a t.p.s. reset. That's pretty cool for a guy as young as he is. He is most defiantly not a squib. Everyone was young and extreme at some point. If you call him a squib you may as well look in the mirror and call yourself a old fart!
Chicks dig bike,s. Forgive the kid for trying to get some action. What is he suppose to say to her..."Sorry...I can't take you for a ride unless you get your riding gear on!" She had a helmet on, a jacket, and jeans (not a thong). Some people are just acting too judgmental. Give the kid a break.
I agree with that. I am glad you are still alive man. I broke my back snowboarding. Made a 90% recovery. I still have random pain and arthritis. From the CT scan at the hospital the Dr. noticed my enlarged aorta.(heart valve) Its twice the size of a normal one. I take meds now to control it. Breaking my back saved my heart. Crazy ****. Crazy life.
