I have them on my 1125r and love them. I have the snakeskin pattern though. I have found that with my textile pants, the frame's surface is very slick. With the gripster pads its much easier to "latch on". Even with jeans, it takes much less effort to gain some stability in your core. I didnt get the airbox pads, when I sat on my bike I noticed my knees didnt come up that high. I do have 1" drop pegs too though.

And they look good IMO, they break up the solid color of the frame.

And Yes those are two big air bubbles. I didnt even see them till I took the pic. They are barely noticeable in person. The flash makes them look huge. I think a little pin prick in each should solve the problem.

Jornum1,

That's exactly what I was hoping for. I find the frame to be slick with my textile pants. I'm going to order up a set in the regular pattern.

let me know what you think of the nonsnake pattern
ive been waffling on which to get

guy at the shop in santa fe had the snakeskin on
it seemed real nice
i wonder if the thinner/sandpapery type pattern will be as grippy?

looks good, but I do believe Matter who is the sites residant expert on vinyl once posted that you should not prick or slice them, just expose them to some good sun and they will work themselves away...
don't quote me on this tho as the amount of great info on here is staggering, in a good way...
:)

have the fusion airbox pad only on mine, helps using a hair dryer during installation and make certain the surfaces are clean prior to install

I have them. I like that they take the heat off but I am thinking about removing them to get a matter graphic.

Best investment next to the rss. It reduces vibration, heat, and when stopping hard its easier to keep tight to the bike.
