Hackpipe Exhaust Tips Up or Down?

So i'm thinking about dual tipping my hackpipe with these, I'm thinking pointing them down would keep the heat from my feet, but up would make it Easier for Dorothy to scream at people?

I'm thinking where I will cut off the rear canister I will put them together in a 90 degree and fill the gap with some sheet. Or possibly put the rear back on and put it where the stock outlet is and have them point straight out.

What are the dimensions of the openings?

3x5.55 I'd cut them down to about 2-4 inches in length from the bend

Yea, I made a little paper mock up last night and up would have the exhaust melting the soles of my shoes
