I take back every opinion of the Bikes we love. This is a must read link It is the reason I will buy another Buell. It is the anti-squid Buell Bible. Its from the website in the owners section. Its exactly how I feel about by bike and other riders.

Yeah, that's a good read. My two favorites are "Sitting is not a sport" and "A Buell won't make you any friends," but for different reasons than what these two sections are about. When I had my cruiser, it seemed like the guys I rode with had bought their bikes to ride them places to go sit. I always wanted to ride, while they wanted to go to the bar and sit there all day - with other friends who they met doing the same thing. Once I finally realized that I don't ride because I want cool transportation to a bar - I ride because I like to ride - I said "F that" and now the cruiser's history and the Buell is gonna get the hell ridden out of it, like I did today when I did my first twisties ride on it. I'm just thankful I could pickup a kickass bike at the same place I could trade in the Harley.

Love it. Explains it to a "T"

I love how even I have gotten so much **** on the forum for what I have done to my bike since some of the things have reduced my handling abilities, but at the same time I never once thought what someone else would think about what I wanted to do with my bike, thus the reason I did them the way I wanted.

My bike is just that "My bike", and that is why it is the way it is. I am an Individual and plan to stray away from the norm as much as possible. It may take a slight turn from its original design and function but I have always planned to keep it as best as possible with every mod I have done. It may not be able to corner the hardest or go the fastest, but it sure as hell is going to be the way I want it. I have nearly retained all stock Buell parts to maintain my major upgrades and in no way short handed my bikes abilities to get where I am.

And I still have this awesome work of art,

Nice book
My favorite was probably, When you see a guy with a liter bike who's chicken strips you wonder if they meet in the middle. lol
And poor little blast.. What will harley use for there riders courses now?

Yo extreme ignore the people against your bike, If this forum was all about stock Buell's I would never log in!!!

Great read btw!! Just got it in my email and I felt like yelling "BUELL's ASSEMBLEEEEEE" after reading this hahah

I don't think it reads "don't wave at people because they don't deserve it". I read it more as "wave at the people who RIDE, not the weekend warriors who claim to be something their not"

As far as the Buell, it sounds like Buell is trying to rebrand their name. They seem to be going for performance, and performance only. The Blast isn't/wasn't a bad bike, but they need to make more room for PERFORMANCE.

Throwin you my two cents from the hottest AZ Summer day so far.
MIDNIGHT!

PEACE

I see what your saying Joel but look at what eveyone says about Buell to begin with. Buell needs a image change, from a upstart lack luster company that makes a few weird bikes to a competitor. As many people as this my upset it will bring in many more people that dont want to be associated with the squid culture. As for the blast he's not snubbing it or the owners hes just changing the brand image and dropping that particular motorcycle line. Im sure a new and improved small displacement sport bike will take its place in the future.

Definitely a surprise about the Blast... hopefully in the years to come they bring something with a little more excitement. Kinda like how Kawasaki did with the ninja 250? That's a huge seller in the beginner market.
