Handguard compatibilty

I talked to my tattoo artist and he wants the handguards on his 03 Blast. I have the ones that I just took off of my 06 Lightning and I'm wondering if they will mount up on a blast with out any modification or "engineering". It looks like they are the same levers and the bars look to be the same size so I don't see why they wouldn't. But I would like to find out if anyone knows for sure.

He said he'll give me another free tat if I mount em up for him. [up]

Well now I know. They mount right up. I had to trim some rubber off the end of the hand grip, but other than that, it didn't need any modifications.
