Happy Thanksgiving all.
I started the morning off at 8AM with a 6 mile run with my 15 year old daughter Michaela and about 28 fellow runners. We ran on the McDade Trail which runs along the Delaware River. It was a chilly 32 degrees with fog when we started out. On our return run back the fog was burning off which allowed us to see the sensational view of the river. Once back at the meeting area there were plenty of snacks along with both cold and hot drinks. I hear it has been tradition that a few runners jump into the river after the run and the tradition has been upheld. Charlie and Rod both shed their running gear in favor of some swimming gear and into the river they went, bbrrrrrrr. The tradition lives on. After a round of holiday wishes we made our way home in anticipation of Thanksgiving Dinner with family.
