You should really look at the current sportster roadster. It feels more like their attempt than even the XR. Tried to give it lightning ergos and even has the split wheels like the EBR's have. Rode one not too long ago. Felt like a dud to me. Was so much happier getting off of it and back onto my lightning.

I have a Roadster and dig it. Its definitely not an XB... probably more akin to a modern day S1/M2. I'd imagine an X1 is probably a bit ahead of it, though.

At least its a step in the right direction.

I can attest that a m2 is still a more nimble tighter bike for sure.... new roadster looks kinda cool but needs tons of work to be Really fun. Still a cool bike though
 
I prefer my 2007 VRSCR StreetRod. It will crush what ever that thing is. Sure she could shed about 200 lbs but I still love her
