i just got my 1125s VA state inspection done with an XBLights LED tail light option#6 (with integrated turn signals), lo-beam HID's and LED marker lights

it has LED's in the turnsignals/mirrors, and had them on the rear turners stock, keep in mind

I personally have not....it matters what state you are in...in pa they are legal unless they are blue red or strobing or in the stock lighting positions...I had a friend get pulled over for putting a blue led in the headlight bucket

He's not talking about turn sigs and lic plate lights , Jobes got his bike lit up like a fireball with lights everywhere ! In Texas you can't drive with them all illuminated , only while parked ( for show ).

blue and red are more frowned on than the other colors.but its like anything else with the ploice.if your polite and show some respect youll probably get a warning.if your an ass wipe your going to get a ticket for sure.or if you are so lit up that your a distraction.like the idiots on harleys that light up a 10 ft circle around them.

LED's are 100% legal if they are the correct color, there is nothing an officer could do even if he hated them with a passion!

I have only been out a few times with the light in my red airbox, I was pretty paranoid about it. I eventually either need to put the switch somewhere I can reach it while I'm riding, or else once I put the K&N back in my bike I'm just going to put some LEDs inside the actual filter. It gives off a nice glowing effect but isn't actually bright, so I think it'd keep me out of too much trouble.

I would think that red/blue lights that do not flash (with exception of brake lights, are NOT forward facing, and not excessively bright would be legal. Just look at all the cars that have blue or red dashes - would that be illegal?

Or is that because it's inside the car? I guess we could put blue/red led's inside our helmets or translucent plastics since that would be considered inside?

Would you think this would be illegal?

you wouldnt think.mines brighter and blue and i havent had any problems.never can tell with the police.are you in a small town, have a history with the cops, maybe the city needs money.

i had mine lit up all white in texas and i rode around. i think its a good thing. it makes you more visible at night. which never hurts in my mind

Thanks TooFst! I have more to come. Im getting a blue light up decepticon led and blacklight l.e.d. ass lights next. Lol! Ass lights! (I want my back skull to light up u.v. style glow in the dark!) Ill post pics when compete. Actually gonna do a u tube of my whole bike.

its not usually my thing but i bought a blue light kit cheap and im thinking of installing them on my bolt ,can i get problems from the pigs if i just use them when its parked? i hate leaving the bike in a parking spot at night in some places while im away from it for a hour or so.

No tickets when parked except...I did get a fine in my 2000 Celica with blue lights parked once. I was in a park and ride. Apparently a park and ride is highway property. ******* cop. $150.00 fine. But it was a ricer so unrelated.

Depends on the state rules.red on rear/tail /brake amber/turn/tag white.I know it looks cool & as some say bad ass, but the wrong color lites in the wrong place w/ the way people are multi tasking while driving, the color changes could cause them to stare & sometimes that will cause a problem .If a thief is checking you out.Its easy to remember. Lock her up w/xena disc lock or something. Buells are high on the salvage list of things to stock up on .
